The Vita-Mix 62824 Advance Blender 48 Oz works using a strong motor that pulls ingredients into the blade assembly and blends the contents with hardened blades that spin at high speed to chop, blend and emulsify the contents. Motor output is controlled by preset programmes and variable speed controls to deal with mixtures between smoothies and soups. It is placed on a counter with the 48 oz container attached to the bottom so one can access the control panel as the ingredients are being processed.
