The Vollrath/Idea-Medalie 644N Tomato Pro Slicer 1/4" is a manual push-handle part that uses the sequence of pre-tensioned scalloped stainless steel blades to produce. This transforms entire tomatoes into uniform slices in one movement without crushing the tomatoes. To work optimally, the unit should be set up on any flat and level commercial work surface or countertop using the non-skid feet. The vertical slicing frame has a high-density polyethylene base to give a firm base, and the open design is such that a catch pan can be set up directly below the cutting space to prepare food simply.
