The Fisher Manufacturing 6642-2300 Faucet Drain Assembly 3/4" NPS X 1-3/4" L Nickel-Plated operates by letting the water flow out of the body through a threaded outlet whilst ensuring a closed connection. It diverts the emptied water off the internal parts. That is fitted into the bottom where the drainage is needed to control the flow of water properly.
