The Dean 826-3191 Filter Pump 4 GPM is a liquid pump that is used to circulate the fluid through a filtration system, drawing fluid in and forcing it out up to 4 gallons per minute. It operates by activating the internal motor to rotate the impeller in the direction that produces pressure to push the water or other fluids through the linked lines. This pump is installed in the pump housing or plumbing assembly of the equipment and is positioned so that the inlet and outlet ports are connected to supply and discharge lines.
