The Pitco P8835-16 Ball Valve 1-1/4" operates by having a spherical internal mechanism that spins to either open or close the flow path to regulate the flow of liquid or gas in the connected line. It has a quarter-turn operation that enables it to change full flow to full shutoff without changing internal pressure pathways. This element is mounted on the plumbing or gas line assembly of the fryer and is installed at a point where direct flow control is needed during installation or repair.
