The Blodgett BL52873 Blower Reversing Wheel 10" works by reversing the direction of the rotation of the blower inside the commercial cooking appliances. It operates by getting the drive mechanism of the blower to reverse the airflow so that the oven can spread the heat evenly across the cooking chamber. The wheel is directly mounted on the shaft of the blower inside the appliance and attached to the drive assembly. It is used in the system as a mechanical controller of airflow direction to aid in the movement of heated air, and add to the uniform internal temperatures.
