The Bally BLRB232 Latch Assembly operates through a mechanical locking mechanism that secures a door or panel by connecting a mating strike component using a spring-loaded latch bolt that moves into position when aligned. When the handle or actuator is moved internal components disconnect the latch bolt from the strike plate allowing controlled release while re-connection occurs automatically when the door returns to a closed position. It is usually installed in cabinet doors equipment housings and access panels where secure closure is required and is commonly, positioned to align with frame-mounted strike plates for consistent operation.
