The Star Mfg WS-50007 Broiler Element heats the cooking area when electrical power is applied. The current passes through the element and produces heat across its 17-1/4-inch length. The 225W rating states its power requirement while 104V provides the operating voltage and 1PH indicates a single-phase supply. Fitted in the broiler's heating area, the element sends heat toward the cooking surface and food placed under or adjacent.
