The Scotsman SSMRC1 Water Filter Cartridge-2000 is an upgrade for your ice machine, designed to ensure the highest water quality for ice machine production. It has bacteriostatic protection, cyst reduction and particulate reduction that makes it a filter of higher class than the standard filters. It is a storage tank specially designed to have a 9000-gallon storage capacity and a maximum flow rate of 1.67 gpm hence preventing scale formation hence improving on the performance of ice machines. The micron rating of 0.50 ensures that all particles of contamination are removed from the water, and its robust construction works effectively under working pressures of 10-125 psi and temperatures of 35-100°F.

Installation Steps

Step1: Turn off ice machine and shut off incoming water supply to prevent leaks or electrical hazards.

Step2: Remove existing filter cartridge by twisting counterclockwise and gently pulling it out of housing.

Step3: Align new water filter cartridge with housing and insert firmly until it locks into place.

Step4: Turn water supply back on and check for leaks around filter connection points.

Step5: Flush system by running water/ice cycle to activate filter.
