The Montague 1977-1 Thermostat Knob 2-1/2" DIA LOW-250-500°F is a manual control that is activated to connect with the internal heating stem to either increase or decrease the flow of gas or electrical output depending on the preferred thermal settings. The rotation of the dial synchronizes internal mechanical parts, and the operator can choose certain temperatures between LOW and 500°F. The circular interface is 2-1/2 inches in diameter with high-contrast white temperature markings with a black finish to make the calibration legible when the kitchen is in high-volume operations.
