The Montague 1977-1 Thermostat Knob Dial is a 2-1/2-inch-diameter control element aimed to fit commercial ovens to enable the setting of temperature ranges between low heat and 500°F. It gives the manual adjustment and control of the temperature in the oven by working with the thermostat in the oven. It is mounted on the front control panel to provide the interface between the operator and the heating system of the appliance to offer the correct temperature selection and to cook consistently.
