The ROYAL RANGE 1517 BJ Thermostat Knob 1-15/16 inch DIA OFF-LO-500-400 degree F-HI has a labeled dial, which can be attached to a control shaft, where the choice of temperature settings is between OFF and a range of up to 400 degrees F., and a notch and a protrusion allow proper alignment. This knob is installed on the front control panel of compatible ranges or ovens, and fits over an 11/16 inch diameter shaft with a position notch facing upwards and an 11/16 inch long protrusion. It is the user interface that controls the temperature of cooking.
