The Detex DT-020 Cover Lock Key ECL405 is a protective part that is placed on a key-operated lock to avoid accidental lock engagement and to shield the lock cylinder against dust or damage. The cover slides or folds in to cover the keyway when closed and out of the way when it is required. This cover style is fitted on the lock of compatible exit components or access control assemblies where this cover style has been ordered. This is an application that requires the use of ECL405 series locks, which provide enhanced protection to the keyed control point.
