The Detex DT019 Cover Lock Key ECL405 is a protective part over a key-operated lock, which can be flipped or slid into position to cover the keyway in cases where it is not in use and prevent dust and other incidental contact. The key may be inserted into the lock cylinder underneath the cover to open the latch or access control mechanism. It is installed over the lock when compatible exit part or access control assemblies are used where this style of cover is ordered.
