The Fisher Manufacturing FIS2932-0002 Backflow Preventer controls fluid movement by permitting flow in the intended direction while restricting reverse travel through the connected line. Internal valve elements respond to pressure changes within the passage, closing when reverse movement occurs and reopening as forward flow resumes. The lead-free designation indicates construction without lead-containing materials, identifies stainless steel construction, and 3/4 specifies the nominal connection size for the line interface. Internal sealing surfaces respond automatically to changing flow conditions within the connected piping arrangement.
