Natural gas flows into the pilot where it is released and ignited to maintain a flame for burner startup. The assembly is installed near the main burner inside compatible commercial system equipment. Its pilot outlet directs the flame toward the burner ignition area allowing the main burner to light when heat is required. The assembly connects with the system gas and ignition parts forming part of the system that starts and maintains burner operation during cooking.
