The Johnson Controls G93ASL-4 Safety Valve 208/240 is a replacement part that is used to regulate, and protect the circulation of gases in commercial heating and cooking systems. It reacts to electrical input and flame-sensing elements so that it can only deliver gas when adequate ignition conditions are reached. It is fitted in the gas supply line of the appliance and it is in conjunction with thermostats, and ignition modules to ensure safe operation. This valve is used in commercial foodservice or heating systems to eliminate the buildup of gas by interrupting flow in faulty conditions.
