The Southbend 1055997 Range Natural Gas Safety Control Model 7000 BMVR controls the amount of gas flowing to the burner to maintains the flame in the proper state during operation. It works by stopping the supply of gas automatically when the pilot flame is not detected to avoid accumulation of unburned gas.
