The Stero A571419 Float switch flange gasket operates by forming a closed zone between the flange and the mounting surface to avoid leakage of fluids. It is easily compressible when clamped and forms a tight seal allowing the float switch to operate freely without difficulty. This is a gasket placed between the float switch flange and the tank or housing aperture, fitting directly at the mounting interface.
