The Garland GLG02487-1 Magnet Head Kit is a mechanical part for commercial cooking equipment. It is used in conjunction with the proper mounting hardware to create a magnetic connection at a specific part of equipment. This connection secures or maintains an associated door, panel, or access part in position. When the magnet head is properly installed, it will ensure that the magnet head is aligned with its mating part and will also support and maintain the holding action as the magnet head is repeatedly opened, closed, inspected, cleaned, and routinely serviced.
