The Grindmaster GRI1735 Pump Cover keeps the internal pump parts out of the way of debris and damage, as well as assisting in the flow of the fluid in the system. It works by covering the pump housing protecting gears and seals from contaminants, and assisting in keeping the moving parts in place. The pump assembly is covered with the cover which is attached to the pump body using fasteners and aligned with inlet/outlet ports. which liaises with the pump, seals, and plumbing to maintain a stable operation.
