The Champion 109985 Dishwasher Heater O-Ring Seal is a close cover that encloses the assembly to prevent water from escaping to the other parts of the assembly. It operates by the compression between mating surfaces in the presence of sealing gaps, preventing fluid flow. This is mounted at the interface of the mounting in compatible dishwasher units. It is shaped to fit into the required groove on the housing with the required diameter and cross-section dimensions. The elastomer material enables the seal to compress and ensure that it is in contact with the adjoining parts when it is operating normally.
