The Hatco HT5.30.005.00 Door Magnet is a system that attaches to a closed door by attracting the magnet to the metal strike plate or surface of the metal plate when the door is closed. Until pulled open, the door is held in place by the magnetic force. It is attached to the specified latch point on compatible warming or foodservice equipment in which a magnetic catch is needed. This door magnet is used in applications where the door is intended to be held without a mechanical lock in commercial kitchen units.
