The Southbend 1194650 Ignition Module operates by controlling the combustion sequence in gas-fired equipment, sending timed electrical signals to activate the spark or hot surface fueling system when a heating cycle begins. It monitors system inputs and coordinates the ignition timing so, that fuel combustion can be initiated through the burner assembly at the proper cycle stage. The module manages start-up and shutdown signaling through its internal control circuitry connected to the appliance ignition wiring network. It is installed within the equipments regulating compartment, positioned on the electrical monitoring panel near the burner and gas valve interface to ensure proper connection within the ignition and control system.
