The Wunder Bar JT-4027110277 Gas Ball Lock Disconnect 1/4 inch Barb turns off the flow of gas when the ball valve is switched to the closed position preventing the flow of fuel along the line. The barb fitting receives the gas, and the inside ball mechanism either lets the gas pass or stops it based on the orientation of the valve. It is fitted in the gas supply line of compatible equipment, and there is a requirement to disconnect or shut off quickly. The barb connection will take flexible tubing, and the body gives a definite point of control in the system.
