The Bally 016768 Door Closer works by controlling the speed and force with which a door closes so that there is controlled movement each time it is used. It has a hydraulic mechanism and internal spring mechanism that act in concert to control the movement of the door starting at the point of opening to the closed position. This element is meant to be installed on the cooler or freezer doors in the commercial kitchen and food storage setting to ensure easy door operation without compromising the integrity of the sealing.
