How can I start up and shut down my Vulcan fryer?
Start-up process for fryer:
- Recover the power.
- Delete the tank covers.
- The fry tanks should be given a boil out or cold soak.
- Verify all crumb traps, portable filters, drawers, and accessories. Thoroughly clean.
- Reassemble the filter paper and other pan components.
- Cold oil should be poured into the fryers up to about an inch below the "Oil Level."
- Activate the fryers.
Shut-up process for fryer:
- Clean the device.
- Pour the oil into an appropriate container.
- Pour the oil into an appropriate container.
- The fry tanks should be given a boil out.
- The fry tanks should be drained and well-dried.
- The interior of the fry tank should be covered with a thin coating of clean cooking oil.
- Put the tank covers on.
- The filter pan and pickup assembly should be cleaned and well-dried. reassemble completed.
- Cut the electricity.
- Close the manual gas supply valve on gas fryers.
- Unplug the device if it is an electric fryer.
