The Manitowoc MAN000007888 Bin Switch detects the amount of ice in the storage bin, opening or closing its electrical circuit when the snow reaches a given height, and the control board responds to the signal by starting or stopping production, tray by switch is installed in the top of the holding area of compatible ice producers, often where the actuator connects the ice. It also acts as the regulate input that assists in controlling harvest cycles and overfilling during glace production.
