The Manitowoc MAN000009120 Water Inlet Valve at 115/120 V and 50 GPM has an internal passage that opens when an electrical signal is applied to the solenoid coil to allow water to flow through the valve body and closes when the electrical signal is removed. Only in the open cycle, water enters the machine from the inlet port and leaves the machine from the outlet to the internal water distribution system. This valve is mounted at the water supply connection of compatible equipment and is mounted in line with the supply and connected to the control wiring.
