Manitowoc 000012761 Thermal Expansion Valve(TXV) Danfoss

The Manitowoc 000012761 Thermal Expansion Valve(TXV) is a Danfoss valve that regulates refrigerant flow within the refrigeration circuit of compatible Manitowoc ice machines. The valve meters refrigerant entering the evaporator according to the thermal conditions sensed at the evaporator outlet. It is installed in the refrigeration compartment between the liquid refrigerant supply line and the evaporator inlet. During operation the valve modulates refrigerant flow to maintain the required evaporator conditions as the cooling load changes, the valve works with the refrigeration circuit to control refrigerant feed and support the temperature conditions required for the ice-making process.
