The Manitowoc 40-0478-3 Ice Machine Water Curtain directs fluid within the ice-making area while supporting the part to monitor the harvest cycle through its integrated drape movement. As ice is released from the evaporator, the curtain swings to allow the cubes to pass into the storage bin before returning to their position for the incoming freezing cycle. This part is installed at the front of the evaporator section inside compatible commercial ice machines, where it forms part of the water distribution and ice sensing assembly during operation.
