The APW 21748900 Bearing Nylon 1-1/8" ID PTFE works by lowering the friction between moving components, and this enables the parts to rotate freely and efficiently. It is made of a plastic body and a PTFE liner to allow the same motion at different loads. This is intended to be installed in the equipment shafts, housings or assemblies where the rotational movement is to take place and is installed firmly to ensure that the bearing remains in place to allow the mechanical operation to be carried out.
