The Hobart 00-067500-00118 Dishwasher O-Ring works by providing a seal between two mating parts to prevent the leakage of fluids in case of pressure. This mechanical seal squeegee compresses when installed to fill the microscopic spaces between the surfaces of the hardware to ensure that the connection is watertight during wash cycles. This is inserted into the manifold assembly or pump housing, and it is firmly seated in a machined groove in order to be properly aligned. This is a circular elastomer that is key to the internal plumbing system.
