The Stero P151149 Vacuum Breaker interrupts siphoning within a connected water line when pressure conditions change. Its internal air inlet responds to reduced pressure, preventing reverse movement through the supply passage. This model features a 3/4-inch connection, with a temperature rating of 212°F and a pressure rating of 125 PSI. For installation, shut off the water supply remove the existing unit, and connect the replacement to the designated plumbing point. Check flow direction and tighten the fittings before restoring service.
