The Southbend PE108 Fuse is used to regulate the flow of electricity by breaking the circuit when the current is too high to allow the power to flow through the circuit. The internal element responds to overload conditions by melting and breaking the circuit to prevent further flow of current. This is installed in the electrical circuit of the commercial cooking equipment that is compatible. It is used in guarding against electrical faults in wiring and internal components when it is in operation.
