The Pitco PP10460 Fryer Circuit Breaker SPST 8A 250V interrupts the electric current when the current is more than 8 amps to prevent overloading the wiring and parts of the fryer. It operates on an internal switch which is automatically tripped when the current becomes excessive and can be manually re-set when things get back to normal. The circuit breaker installed in commercial fryers and it can be mounted to the electrical panel to be part of the power control and safety system of the appliance.
