The Ultrafryer 18A276 Probe Tan Wire Leads monitors oil temperature inside the fryer and sends resistance-based temperature readings to the control system during cooking operations. Its RTD sensor design changes electrical resistance as oil temperature rises, or falls allowing the fryer controls to regulate heating cycles and maintain programmed cooking temperatures. This probe is installed inside compatible commercial fryers, positioned within the frypot where it remains in direct contact with the cooking oil. The assembly includes tan lead wires for connecting control components and the temperature-monitoring circuit within the equipment.
