The Henny Penny 59742 Safety Relief Valve Assembly 1/2" NPT 15 PSI works automatically, releasing the pressure when it exceeds a preset limit to keep the system in the right operating conditions. It works by internal spring which opens the valve when the pressure reaches 15 PSI and the excess pressure is relieved safely before the valve is resealed when normal pressure is restored. The assembly of this safety relief valve is fitted to pressure fryers or other pressurized equipment.
