The Bunn 26780.0000 Auger Shaft Seal is used to seal the area around the auger shaft of beverage-dispensing equipment during operation cycles, to avoid liquid leakage. It works by developing a tight sealing point between the moving shaft part, and the other surfaces of the housing as the auger rotates, preventing the liquid from passing into other mechanical parts. The seal fits around the auger shaft connection within compatible dispensing units, and is placed within the drive/hopper assembly to aid in the movement of the contents during mixing and dispensing operations.
