The Star Mfg 2E-41100-17 Temperature Sensor Probe is a unit that measures and sends data on surface temperature to the control system of a griddle to regulate the actual heat. It fits into the griddle setup and is equipped with a 12-1/2" long and 1/8" diameter probe with a 20" lead of wire to ensure proper connection. It maintains the same performance in both temperature variations during operation to maintain thermal balance, which is useful in maintaining correct levels of heat across the griddle surface in commercial food service applications.
