The Comark SK42M Surface Probe - K Type 45 Shaft is a temperature sensor that is based on a K-type thermocouple junction that produces a voltage signal when its tip comes into contact with a hot surface. The angled 45-degree shaft enables the probe head to be left flat and the handle left in place to aid in controlled monitoring to ensure consistent contact in readings. This probe is mounted on griddles, hot plates or other flat cooking surfaces where surface temperature measurement is needed during normal operation.
