Southbend SOU1175723 Oven Ignition Control Module is an electronic part which controls the ignition cycle in commercial gas ovens. It controls the igniter power, and synchronizes the operation of the gas valves to make sure that the burner is lit at the right time. This module is mounted in the control compartment of the oven and it communicates with sensors, wiring harnesses and the gas valve assembly. It is used in foodservice kitchens to ensure a steady start of the baking and roasting process by ensuring correct timing of ignition as a component of the overall temperature and safety control system of the oven.
