Manufacturer:
The Southbend SOUP1089 Door Spring is applied in the control of the movement and balance of the commercial oven. The spring is installed between the frame and door of the oven, and counterbalance tension assists in opening and closing the door without any sudden falls and slamming. When the door is opened, the spring possesses mechanical energy and gives it out gradually when it is closed. This feature is meant to reduce the load of hinges and to be sure that the door gasket is properly placed so that the door forms an airtight seal and maintains even internal temperatures.
