The Holman SP-118002 Oven Speed Control Potentiometer 120V is an adjustable potentiometer that has a shaft that turns to adjust the speed of a conveyor or fan by changing the electrical resistance. This resistance variation adjusts the power fed to the motor enabling the rate of movement to be controlled during operation. The potentiometer is attached to the front control panel of the oven or to the control housing where it is connected to the wiring of the system and is a convenient point of adjustment to use during normal operation to control the speed settings.
