The Star Mfg 2B-Z18628 Top Platen Arm Left Assembly is the part that supports the movement of the upper platen on the left side of sandwich grills by providing a structure through which pivoting takes place in opening and closing actions during cooking. It connects the heated platen to the frame of the grill so that there is freedom of controlled motion while maintaining alignment between upper and lower cooking surfaces, even after repeated use. Designed for 14-inch grill configurations, this part integrates with the right-side assembly to give balanced operation.
