The Star Mfg 2T-Y1962 BJ-Thermostat D-Stem Adaptor 21/32"L is a part that is used to connect and extend the thermostat sensor stem in commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment. It works by providing a safe interface between the thermostat and the internal control system of the appliance which gives correct temperature detection and control. It is normally fitted to the D-stem fitting of the appliance to ensure the thermostat is correctly aligned and operational, and to ensure that the sensing element is in constant contact.
