The Cleveland KE52752 Stem Assembly PTFE Seal 2" operates by allowing the stem and sealing parts to regulate the flow when the valve is either opened or closed in the system. It works by having a PTFE sealing surface that is always in contact with the valve body when the stem is being operated. This assembly is installed in the specific valve housing and it is inserted into the mounting channel and aligned with the internal mechanism that controls directional flow.
