The FWE STK-LTH1 Adjustable Door Strike works by fitting into the hinge latch to hold the door in place when it is closed and also releasing the door when the latch is released. which enables slight adjustment of position to fit the hinge. This part fits on the wall frame where the latch is attached to the frame opening. The base is a 3/4" x 1 3/8" base that gives a mounting area where the latch mechanism is to be attached to ensure the mechanism and the door structure interact correctly.
