The Delfield 2194235 Defrost Termination Switch 2 Wire is a temperature-activated control, which is installed in systems to terminate the defrost cycle at the correct point. It controls the coil temperature and closes the circuit when a preset limit has been exceeded, which would cause excessive defrosting. This switch is normally installed close to the evaporator and connected to the defrost circuit. Using the refrigeration system it is essential to control the time of defrosting to ensure that the cooling system operates at the proper level and normal temperatures when it is used normally.
