The Manitowoc 000008310 Ice Machine Thermistor Assembly measures the temperature variations with varying electrical resistance to thermal conditions. These changes in resistance are interpreted by the control board in order to monitor the temperatures in the system. It is placed in the ice machine and temperature points. The thermistor is attached to a wire that sends information to the control system. Correct temperature feedback aids in getting the correct timing of harvest cycles. The assembly contains mounting features so that it can be placed stably.
