The Hobart 01-1A1828-00001 Oven Thermocouple Kit operates based on the seebeck concept, whereby two dissimilar metal wires joined together at one end form a voltage signal, that is proportional to changes in temperature. This voltage is transferred to the lead wires to the control board of the unit, which processes the data to regulate the amount of heat produced. The component is mounted directly into the oven cavity and is usually placed in the airflow path to check internal conditions. This kit consists of the probe, lead wires and mounting components required to install.
